I've been watching this dynamic over the past few weeks between FK and everyone else. If FK is trying to destroy 2nd Light then you are giving him the means to do it.

You guys are bringing all this on yourselves. If you reply to him you give him legitimacy. If you ignore him, he doesn't exist. Since we don't have an "Ignore" feature on the forum you have to do it manually. Let him rant and rave. You don't have to read his posts and you don't have to respond to them. It might take him a month to figure it out but eventually even he will leave.

Right now he is thrilled to be so popular, even if it is in the form of negative attention. It's attention and that's all that matters. You give him power by responding to his rants. The more negative, the better. He has the power to tweak you and you've given it to him. You want him to STFU? Then act AS IF he doesn't exist. Otherwise you are just putting gas in his tank to run you over with. Every response you give him breaths more life into him. You want him to go away? Then pull the friggin plug and let him die already.

An excellent interpretation. The function of his wording serves as a verbal operant called a mand that results in attention. Implementing extinction, withholding attention aka ignoring, should result in an initial increase in responding (more posts) followed by a gradual decilne in response rate. However, if anyone replies, the massive amounts of FK posts will continue as you might actually increase the response rate by attempting extinction (trying to ignore him) but eventually reinforcing the response rate.

This is why the forum needs an official behavior analyst. ExF can be the psychologist. I'll be the behavior analyst and Dave can each send us each a check for $100,000. That will be great. Then, ExF and I can criss cross the globe and have dinner once a month with one another and our wives, share a few waves at Ala Moana or Officer's Club.

The only problem with your theory there Exfloridian..... is that the people that you are talking to (from BIG...they are all members there) are all "trolls" themselves. Every single one. So what you are describing is to them actually impossible to do. Trolls would NEVER stop trolling. That is what they do naturally. They are looking for prey....me. If they have ho prey...they prey on themselves...which has happened on here multitudes of times...would you like examples? Here's one:

This is how Trolls operate. If they don't get the desired results they turn into thugs. They "stalk" you and threaten you if you don't do as they are TELLING you to do! They break into 2ndLight forum software and steal your personal information (if it's actually accurate) and then use it to intimidate you (ask Dave if you think me the liar). Just think they have ALL of ya'll registration information! Every single one! To some that may not matter but to others, that would be interesting!

They PM people with threats and insinuations of threats. Here is an example of a few that I received yesterday evening:

So...when you have another theory about TROLLS...stuff it somewhere that it is actually relevant.
