Fish Killer is the one trying to destroy 2L not those "guys from the STY."

On April 8, FK got his panties all in a wad becasue a post of his was deleted and because Dave did not come in and back him like he thought he would. FK then went over the the deep end and his posts as we now know them began.

It's real simple to do and actually kind of fun, by looking back at his post history you can see the exact moment where he lost it (not that he was far from the edge in the first place). He went from a jovial fisherman for the first ~30 posts (Oct-April) to an absolute nutter on 4/8 and has racked up ~1500 posts in less than 2 months!!

He has attempted, and to a degree succeded, in causing an internal implosion of 2L. Has one single person on 2L sided with FK other than for his initial entertainment value? While Dave's hit counter might have been flying through the roof, the content has fallen through the floor and THAT is what will keep people coming back. Those "STY" guys were trying to rid 2L of him but in the end, the true enemy has remained.

Truthfully, I wouldn't doubt that CHEEZIT is one of his personalities too (and no, I don't mean alias). CHEEZIT appeared inorder to flame the surf section. His posts are nothing more than a non-surfer mocking the reports and discussions that we have about waves. FK doesn't surf, we know this. CHEEZIT & FK both try to incite mayhem by posting information that is so falliable and ludicrous nothing short of a fight can insue. He knows this. Cheezit has faded because he was ignored...if only some would learn to do the same with FK.

And if Dave would only realize who the true enemy is.

The difference is you're breaking the law! Imagine if just half the people who seriously fish for snook poached them. Do you think you'd be out catching those same hogs that you do now year round?? He!! no you wouldn't. The snook fishery on the west coast is just now starting to come back after the net ban and I want to see it continue to thrive.

LL's are hard working people, there's no doubt about that. Fishing for a living is very demanding and dangerous to say the least. But they continue to exhaust their allocated amount (80% of allocated grouper landings, recreational is only allowed 20%!!) by raping and damaging their own fish stock!! Why not ditch the longlines and go to stand up gear? If you know where to fish landing 3 60+ lb fish is not hard to do. Their gear choice is the demise of their labor, period. And I can care less about grouper prices.....I haven't bought grouper in years. Let the tourist eat the import grouper (more than half of the grouper caught and brought into the Gulf of Mexico fish houses is exported!!) and the tilapia one their dime.

I've been watching this dynamic over the past few weeks between FK and everyone else. If FK is trying to destroy 2nd Light then you are giving him the means to do it.

You guys are bringing all this on yourselves. If you reply to him you give him legitimacy. If you ignore him, he doesn't exist. Since we don't have an "Ignore" feature on the forum you have to do it manually. Let him rant and rave. You don't have to read his posts and you don't have to respond to them. It might take him a month to figure it out but eventually even he will leave.

Right now he is thrilled to be so popular, even if it is in the form of negative attention. It's attention and that's all that matters. You give him power by responding to his rants. The more negative, the better. He has the power to tweak you and you've given it to him. You want him to STFU? Then act AS IF he doesn't exist. Otherwise you are just putting gas in his tank to run you over with. Every response you give him breaths more life into him. You want him to go away? Then pull the friggin plug and let him die already.

However, if anyone replies, the massive amounts of FK posts will continue as you might actually increase the response rate by attempting extinction (trying to ignore him) but eventually reinforcing the response rate.

This is why the forum needs an official behavior analyst. ExF can be the psychologist. I'll be the behavior analyst and Dave can each send us each a check for $100,000. That will be great. Then, ExF and I can criss cross the globe and have dinner once a month with one another and our wives, share a few waves at Ala Moana or Officer's Club.

The only problem with your theory there Exfloridian..... is that the people that you are talking to (from BIG...they are all members there) are all "trolls" themselves. Every single one. This is how Trolls operate. If they don't get the desired results they turn into thugs. They "stalk" you and threaten you if you don't do as they are TELLING you to do! They break into 2ndLight forum software and steal your personal information (if it's actually accurate) and then use it to intimidate you (ask Dave if you think me the liar). Just think they have ALL of ya'll registration information! Every single one! To some that may not matter but to others, that would be interesting!
