All of Trump's circle had contact with Russians. They defended him.
Trump asked Ukraine for help in an election. They defended him. Now it looks like Trump and co help orchestrate the attack on the capital and still they defend him. Seriously, do all of you think the above are a good thing for this country? ------------------------- I was right. |

Trump got lucky. He had the best 'free' campaign anyone could ever wish for, butteremails. Even foreign countries helped him out with it. They tried something similar next round but people saw through it. He botched the pandemic response and incited an insurrection and he tanked. That's all there is to it.

1) How many people showed up to vote against Trump; and 2) that third-party votes were only 2% of the 2020 total, but 6% of the 2016 total; i.e., more people who might have gone 3rd party voted against Trump (by voting for Biden) instead. It's funny how the 2020 election was Trump's to lose, and he still managed to fuck it up that bad. The 70's era TB Bucs couldn't snatch defeat from the jaws of victory any better than Trump did in 2020. |

Different interpretations of a figure of speech? What I mean is, Trump didn't have to try very hard to win, just not fuck up. It would have taken monumental effort for a normal person in Trump's situation to lose the election, but it came naturally to him. He could have just worn a straight-jacket and ball gag, done or said nothing, and let the country run on cruise control and still won. Every time he moved his lips, it cost him a vote. Maybe an idiot savant (masterful liar and genius at manipulating people), but idiot first and foremost.

Major cities with millions of voters voted for Biden. Po dunk knowheresville with hardly any people in the county voted for trump. Doesn't take a genius to understand that. |
