The place is amazing. It changes so fast. I was sitting on the wall at dead low tide just watching 3 guys catching shoulder high 150 yd waves. I say to myself" im going to join them for a wave or two then get another juicy box. I paddle out thinking leisurely fun waves but all of a sudden 8-10 ft face sand sucking, sand churning , top to bottom grinders start coming in. The peak was right in front of the river. I mean ledging up, sucking up real quick. I let the first two sets go through out of fear (sorry but true). Holy crap!! I caught two before running up to the cabina to tell my friends to hurry its world class right now. I say two, one to the corner and the other from the corner to the boats. It lasted for and hour and half. It mellowed out as the tide filled in.
