A 3-wave set comes and the guy in position paddles for the 1st 2 waves, but doesn't catch either. The guy next to him could have caught either, but yielded to the guy in position. The 3rd wave comes and both paddle for and catch the wave. Did the guy next to the guy in position burn him, or did the guy forfeit his "priority" position by paddling for, but not catching the 1st 2 waves of the set?
