If yer getting old for sure... Finally the longboard vs shortboard battle fires up again, it's been a while! Loggers trying to compensate for shortcomings fo sho... Ok, I'll bite. I'm only 36. Spent my entire close-minded youth groveling in FL on the same board's guys were riding on the CT. It wasn't until I moved to HI of all places that I learned to appreciate a log, amongst a variety of other boards, twins, single fins, quads, etc... Different boards for different waves. FL is home to some of the worst surf in the world. Gotta have the right tools to take advantage of all conditions. My personal opinion is that if it's big enough for a leash, it's big enough to get off the log. In all reality just ride whatever the hell makes you have the most fun... just as long as it's not a foil ------------------------- R I P Mama G. @Salt.And.Savagery.Fishing @Laserwolf.Laserwolf Edited: 06/17/2021 at 05:37 PM by Long Beard |
