I wouldnt bother.
The cells in the salt-chlorine generator blow out and you have to replace the cell every few years. My cell is $800. That buys alot of chlorine. Plus you have to buy the big bags of salt and make sure that is in there. I found the best way to keep the pool chlorinated w/o the generator is to buy the Clorox Pool Chlorine floater. Its like $20 and lasts all month to a month and a half. They sell them at Publix. so. $20/mo x 12 months is $240. compare that to replacing an $800 cell. And eventually you need to replace the contoller when it blows out. Also consider how much the system costs in the first place. All so you dont have to "maintain" it. Well, buying 3 floaters at Publix and throwing one in the pool every 30-45 days isnt much maintenance.. just my opinion. ------------------------- Zzzzzzz.. Zzzzzzz.. Braaaaaapp! Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.... |
