Beaches just north of the pier in Vero Beach actually gained sand elevation in the past 2 days. 

Wish I had a drone.  I suspect a big streamer of sand has been deposited south of Vero's Riomar Reef.  Doesn't look like South Beach has lost anything.

 I seriously doubt Satelitte beach could afford the loss of property tax. I know the residents wouldn't want to see the increase if they lost all those condo's. Rumor has it Sateliite is in some pretty deep doo doo with their sewage system.

 It is pretty cool how mother nature can strip away man's work in a blink of an eye. Some beaches lose sand some gain. Who knows maybe if we just left alone it would be fine.

Sand is a pretty good representation of government spending as a whole.
