Masses of glass minnows moving slowly to the south at Patrick today. The small sharks and Tarpon were harassing them and there was some showering from below that was either flounder or Whiting. Some of the largest Whiting I've ever caught came from under glass minnow schools on fresh cut shrimps.
The seaweed is finally gone from the Inlet and the Mojarra are there in mass. We got some nice Mangroves and my son got a 40lb Goliath on his baitcaster, which was fun to watch. It ate a silver dollar sized Mojarra and took him to the edge of the channel and back from the north rocks. Snook were absolutely everywhere, but the water is clear, so the daytime bite is difficult at best, even on live bait and 25 lb fluorocarbon. ------------------------- I was right.
