That legal theory would apply equally to Chunkan's case. She won't dismiss her case, however. She is anti-Trump. In any case, more appeals. No more bogus trials against Trump before the election, after which he will pardon himself. Progs can and will botch everything.

The activist court in full force. She was chosen for a reason, but it doesn't matter. If Trump loses, he's fucked. This case is open and shut.

You mean it took Cannon this long to figure out a way to protect trump using a technicality?

"Judge Aileen Cannon justified her decision Monday on technical constitutional grounds regarding special counsel Jack Smith's appointment and the funding of his office.

Her rationale was not based on specifics of this case or the strength or weakness of the charges."

As a footnote, this ruling now requires the President to be called "Emperor" and allows no prosecution for any offense at any time by anyone who does not love the dear leader with all their heart.

Progs hate justice. They are fine with the gov't going after people who don't share their perverted beliefs or who are black (remember, they were the perpertrators of lynching blacks). Another reason not to ever vote for them. A big one at that.

This is justice? This stands for the prospect that when you appoint an inexperienced prosecutor for life to a very cushy job with four clerks doing all of the work, that prosecutor owes you a favor. This favor was just called in.

Yes, upholding the constitution is justice. Progs, btw, hate the Constitution. All judges are nominated by the president. So, you are saying that all federal judges are biased?

A Constitutional question should certainly be decided by judges more credible and intelligent than this obviously trumpist pos Florida judge.

The government should appeal, although the cons will most likely run out the clock and the new king can quash any investigation into his past criminal behavior.

Cannon took the language for her decision directly from Clarence Thomas' dicta in the immunity case. If this case goes up, it will be a 6-3 ruling affirming it. Will this affirmation be legal? Yes, but that is not to say its rooted in the law. This case would not even exist 5 years ago and only exists now because Trump appointed a majority of the Justices who remain loyal to him instead of the law, even to the extent that these justices swore under oath that Roe was settled law and they would not disturb it. Its a question of justices, not justice.

Why did Trump have nuclear secrets and why did he reuse to give them back?

Those questions most certainly pertain to national security.

For now.

But why did Trump take and keep nuclear secrets? This is a serious charge and an answer should be discovered.

The American people deserve and have a right to know what was happening with that bathroom full of secrets, being moved around by Walt Nauta with the intent to deceive.

Tfap is apparently all for cheating the American people out of their rights.

The hypocrisy here for Tpap just broke the needle and is now spinning out of control. Tpap is now dodging questions about how and why Trump stole, retained, lied about and obstructed efforts to get the documents back because "the case was dismissed." It's over. The judge has spoken, right? One might recall that this is the very same Tpap who never accepted the election lawsuits dismissal, over 60 of them, because, he argued that they were all dismissed on technicalities and no one ever got to their merits. Here we have a case very clearly dismissed on the most technical of technicalities and when Cole asked for the merits of Trump's actions, Tpap has declared it over and done with. Absurd.

I'm waiting for Tpap to land back on this thread and stroll down bad memory lane and take a turn a spin city.
