James Gordon Meek has claimed to "debunk" several stories over the years involving child sex abuse, including Pizzagate.

Well, recently Meeks pleaded guilty to having child pornography in his possession. The investigation began when Dropbox tipped off the FBI about an account linked to Meek containing videos showing the sexual abuse of children. The FBI raided his home and found an iPhone containing a video containing the sexual abuse of an infant.

The devices obtained in the raids included messages to others including the following:
"Have you ever raped a toddler girl? It's amazing,"

In another message, Meek allegedly shared a perverted fantasy he has of "abducting, drugging, and raping" a 12-year-old girl.

It seems like the main points that this pervert used to "debunk" Pizzagate was that there was no basement in the pizza parlor where the abuse was said to take place and then the part about drinking blood, which sounded ridiculous from the start. I don't think anyone believed that anyone was drinking the blood of kids and I don't think anyone cares if this particular building has a basement.

I'm reserving judgement until more information comes out but it will be interesting to see if this will be the next "conspiracy theory" that crosses over into just being a conspiracy. Regardless, I don't think you can take this guy's word on anything having to do with the sexual abuse of children.

UPDATE:

Turns out Meek never did any investigating of Pizzagate at all. That part is untrue.

So looks like Griper fell for a hoax on that part.

Meek did get arrested for CP though.

Seems the hoaxers trying to connect him to Pizzagate, to revive it, when they are really not related at all.

This information on the Post article being false was out way back in August, well before Griper managed to fall for it, which just goes to show how easy it is for this type of misinformation to keep spreading, even after its been debunked.

Fabricated New York Post headline on ex-ABC journalist





The image circulating features a New York Post headline that reads, "Award winning ABC journalist who 'debunked' pizzagate, pleads guilty in horrific child porn case." The post on X, previously known as Twitter, had garnered about 551 reposts at the time of writing (here).

No such headline exists on the New York Post' website, however ( here ), ( here ).

Coverage of Meek's case by the New York Post (here) includes no mention of "Pizzagate", a fake theory about a pedophile ring run at a Washington, D.C. pizzeria that has also been adopted by followers of the QAnon conspiracy theory (here).



Check your sources first next time

I love conspiracy theories and figured I'd give Griper's article the benefit of the doubt and a full read.

It was fascinating for sure, full of weird instagram posts, that are indeed kinda wacky.. but I particularly enjoyed the misinformed opinions on contemporary paintings.. that reminded me of when born-agains would interpret RUSH lyrics as "Satanic" back in the 80's.

Anyway, I read it all, and then took a tour of the Evie front page.. read a few articles there, and then had the overwhelming feeling that everything was written by right-wing men, if not all the SAME guy.

and then of course, Tom posts the article above and sure enough..

oh and btw the whole Evie article was pretty much copped from an article on vigilantcitizen.com back in 2016.

It's creepy, I'll give ya that.. but there seemed to be a ton of conclusion-jumping and cherry picked stuff to fit a story.

However, the James Gordon Meek story is completely true and creepy.

(although not really related to Pizzagate, other than he did a story on it- he was a professional journalist)


There's a lot of these kinds of stories out there.. about various people, I remember reading one like 20 years ago about or by Hunter S Thompson and it had something to do with Nixon or something..

At the end of the day, the FBI was aware of this whole thing from early on.. they seems to have a knack for seperating BS from the real thing.. that's how they caught Meek.
