It happened under Trump, so I'm not sure why all you lefties are so quick to defend the FBI. If the FBI had infiltrated BLM or ANTIFA, helped them plan an attack, trained them, given them explosives, and then drove them to where they would be arrested, then I'm sure you would be singing a different tune.

The question is, who is really running shit? If anyone actually read the article, you would see that one of the guys tried to turn over some disturbing information to the FBI and instead of doing their jobs, running with it, and arresting people, the FBI decided to put this guy in harms way and have him do their jobs for them. It seems like they could have gotten the same arrests without having to go as far as they did. It looks like they let it go that far strictly for optics purposes.

There is a big difference between the MI Militia and BLM / Antifa.. The MI Militia live for this shit - have all the 'gear' to with it.. We have a 'cabin in the woods' type place up in N MI - very rural area and see wierd shit all the time just driving around.. First they aren't lefties. The left has no love for the FBI. And it's a fact that the FBI has and is infiltrating BLM and left organizations, ANITFA is a bit harder for them since it's not organized as such; but the FBI does all the things you mention.

If you want the summary:

Left - F the FBI
Center Right/Liberal - love the FBI
Far Right - love the FBI as long as they are harassing blacks and leftists.
