Orlando Sentinel, Friday evening reports the Orlando Dreamers group has announced that the money's been pledged to lure a team (likely the Rays) and and build a stadium next to the Aquatica water park, road 528 at International Drive. It seems the Rays have backed out of a Bay Area stadium deal.

Beisbol has been berry berry gud....to me.
So has futbol, football, hockey, collegiate athletics, etc.
Running camera for games, working concerts and events at said stadiums.
O-land would swarm to baseball.
I really miss the Nats and Manatees here. They would need a very giant shoe horn to put it where they propose.
Orlando's grid locked, cluster fucked horror land now anyway, right?

It's a democratic hoax

Not one penny of tax dollars for gazillionaires. I am sick of it. They're all Republicans. Let them finance their own businesses. For them to get tax breaks and subsidies is SOCIALISM and we all know how much they hate that bugaboo, right??!!

Portland, Oregon, which was about as large as Orlando (probably now quite a bit smaller) is angling for MLB with a new riverside stadium, conveninently at a light rail stop. Washington D.C. has lined up a return of pro football to a site that's now a more or less derelict 196i0s stadium.
