This will fill the stands. This should have happened years ago.

Tebowmania is upon us again and yes, it's very real. Because even though fans were cautioned about buying Tim Tebow jerseys, they're jumping at the chance to do it anyway.

The top five selling items at NFL Shop on Friday, one day after the Jacksonville Jaguars officially signed Tebow on a one-year deal, are all Tebow items.

Tight End and he's in his 30's? The man is a machine if he pulls this off.

He is a hulk of a man. There is no fat on him either. But football is hard game so I am waiting to see if it's real or just a jersey stunt.

Can a 32 yo stop a receiver that can run a 4.3 40? The dude will teleport past him before he gets his head up.

He could be a fairly good "running threat" in the old "end around" or, have the opponents looking for him to go "around" then give him a hand-off and watch him pass all the way down field for the score?

Problem with NFL is only 53 man roster. Can't have someone hold a clip board and not play. I would think Tebow would be great on what he did in his first year with the Gators. Come in for 3rd down and short and wild cat for the first. Or, Blocking TE on an end around then shed his block and look for a opening in the end zone in the red zone. Also as a decoy. Tebow comes in on obvious 3rd and short and acts like the ball coming to him. Also, he would be a great calming presence for Trevor Lawrence for the transition from college to the pros. Interesting though. I hope he makes the team.

Jags signed Shaquill Griffin during the off season. UCF great. Been with the Seahawks the past 5 years. Twin brother of Shaquim Griffin (the one handed Linebacker).

Tebow watch:
Tebow flashes at Jaguars training camp
The Jaguars opened training camp Wednesday, and News4Jax sports reporter and anchor Jamal St. Cyr said Tebow was the second-best tight end on the field on day one.

"He really flashed. Tebow caught two nice passes down the seam. Now, the passes were a bit of a body catch, but that doesn't change the fact that Tebow was able to create space and make the play,"

I wonder how many season tickets he sold while on his football field trip. I was hoping he would make the team. My wife shreeked about an hour ago, Tebow got cut. Hey, she hates football but the headline got her.

NFL is tough competition.

I stopped watching the preseason games. Waiting for Week 1 to zoom back in.

Poor Tebow. All he has now is beauty queen wife, millions of dollars and a huge contract as a commentator. His endorsements will add to that. He can always say he never gave up on his dream and in fairness he didn't, but the league is not a place for participation trophies.

Not too many hater articles, but I did find this one. So many haters. Tebow had the opportunity and went for it. Who else wouldn't? To me sport's is part, player's story, and part overall team performance. Sometime's the story of older fighter coming back for another chance is a good story. It would have gotten more eyeballs, ticket and jersey sales, made it more interesting.

Now the storyline goes back to Trevor Lawrence and Urban Meyer's debut in the NFL...Although, I vowed to not pull for the Jags anymore, The Urban/Trevor story line has me interested.

Lame hater article that I don't agree with, but worth the read:

Tim Tebow's ill-fated NFL return was about cronyism rather than talent
The quarterback gave us many magic moments during his sporting career but his final stop in Jacksonville deprived more deserving players of a chance
