Not going to spend my surf trip money supporting a country that is running US concentration camps.
they could have this wrongly imprisoned father back to his children in 12 hours if they werent being so evil. i am not OK with this

I think the main Panama worry is that they have had an extremely friendly government, and as with Denmark and Canada, Trump administration threats may ruin those relations.

Man, i would just cancel it and go to Southern California. Support freedom.
El Salvador is OK for surf, but so is Old Man's, Cotton's Point, Swami's and more.
Plus its easy to book and youre not supporting an illegal gulag. my2c

It's always shady.

Fox. Someone had fun writing the headline. I think for surfing visitors it's probably fine. Bodyboard Holidays, a very well run bodyboarding trip organizer in Cornwall, goes to Costa Rica and El Salvador. Bali, southern Sumatra, and even a surf park. They dropped trips to California. Maybe Portugal is better?

BTW, Surfline's southern California forecasting sees a setup for southern hemisphere south swell starting at the end of April and running well into May. Could be worth checking their views for south-facing beaches well south of Calif.

I have been to California and I have been to El Salvador. California has 911, hospitals, local police, country sheriffs, FBI and State police in case things go bad. El Salvador has a new strong police presence, but when those cops are gone, there is no one you can call that will get there in time to change anything.

El Salvador and Belize are the only Central American countries free of Malaria, according to the World Health Organization.

Awww, look: another magat who got his kook ass whipped in California.
El Salvador has always been a somewhat shady fascist/criminal regime.kind of country.
Check back on experiences with the early nomad/hippie types back when.
If you know someone from there kinda insider type probably, maybe okay. But now that baby blimp is creating chaos,....who knows?
I'll take an uncrowded Santa Barbara point or a Ventura/ Oxnard summer west swell over that anytime.

Sounds like Surfcaster is one of the 29% of Americans still telling themselves that the Concepts of Tariff Plans are going to somehow work out for the best... LOL
