 For a while, when we were first married, my wife and I had four cars between us, nothin newer than '72, and on any given day, two could be counted on to get you to work. VW bus and super beetle, Audi 100LS, Opel GT. Greasy hands, busted knuckles, good times. Thanks for sparking that memory.

The opal GT comment brought back some memories! A buddy had one and i remember i thought the coolest thing was the headlights...they were manually operated. Good looking little car, we'd go cruising to Santa Cruz and when we saw a cute girl he'd operate the headlights to "wink" at her! Ha!
