Nope, no guns. He was working on something "special" in his private shaping room, and he would not let me see it. He was covered in balsa shavings a couple days. He would not say much about it but, I did "gather" that it was for a female to use to "paddle in" at some "place".
Last time on the Big Island I did get to see, and Clyde let me touch, one of Eddie's most famous Waimea Guns; Hobie, shaped by Dick. 
Dick's "office": 
The living room of our place there. Interestingly, I had posted some close-ups elsewhere in regard to Dick's signatures and was challenged that those were copies of Dick's boards!! LOL
