I am a lifelong resident of Eau Gallie and like many, I miss our beloved dragon "Annie"....breaks my heart to see her broken remains lying on the rock.
Being an artist and photographer, a friend contacted me recently about doing a commemorative painting of "Annie".
It kinda "blew up" and I had requests from many people for a print, so I went and had several prints made in different sizes.
I created this using an old film photo taken back in the 90's and adding effects and painting in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator programs.
The image has a "watercolor" feel to it.
I've tried to capture the feeling of Annie as I remember her "back in the day". Whether it be driving over the causeway at sunset after surfing, or fishing her rocky perch for mangrove snapper and trout as she patiently looked on.

So I have a few prints remaining in sizes 8x10, 11 x 14, 16 x 20, and 24 x 36 poster size.
All done on professional quality "heavy stock" photo paper.
If anyone wants a print hit me up!

See price list below (I'll knock 10% off for 2L'ers).

What she'd look like matted and framed:

Very cool painting. I remember the dragon when I used to live in West Melbourne but I haven't been that way in quite some time. How long ago did it fall apart?

Dan, the hurricanes of 2004 did a big number on her, but she was still standing.
I think it was a big Nor'easter in 2006 that finished her off.

Very cool Timmay! There is a website dedicated to her. The lady even wrote a book about her. http://www.dragonbook.com/
