ICE agents mistakenly detain U.S. marshal in Arizona

A U.S. marshal was mistakenly detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Arizona, officials said Friday.

The deputy marshal was briefly detained in the lobby of a federal building in Tucson because he "fit the general description of a subject being sought by ICE," according to a statement from a U.S. Marshals Service spokesperson shared with NBC News on Friday. It is not clear when the incident took place.

"The Deputy US Marshal's identity was quickly confirmed by other law enforcement officers, and he exited the building without incident," said U.S. Marshals Service spokesperson Colleen Grayman.

Earlier this week, ICE agents made the most immigrant arrests in a single day, detaining more than 2,200 people Tuesday, according to a source familiar with the arrests and an ICE spokesperson who confirmed the numbers, as the agency responds to pressure from the White House to rapidly and dramatically increase arrests.

The guy was a cuban who entered in the US 60 years ago to flee Castro, got caught in '81 transporting 1500 lb of pot in a boat and did time in prison. His family said that changed him and when he got out he was a changed man and lead a clean life....That was 40+ years ago...he has no legal issues since then, which is the definition of reformed and rehabilitated.

Then ICE arrested him in Trump's raids and he died in their custody.

Federal agents pull guns on USC who was following them at a safe distance, and demanded he get out of car and roll down windows.
He declines.

A police officer shows up and diffuses the situation and told the guy he didn't do anything wrong and can go...but be safe and be sure to stay out of their operations...which he wasn't.

This is the police state that Trump and Peewee German, and donut Holeman and Pam blondi want.

Trump has been flooding the media zone with his bullshit, meanwhile ICE gets 3x more money than it had and is now the most expensive federal agency with the largest budget...much bigger than the FBI and other federal LE agencies.

And they are still doing their bullshit.
Here they stopped a family, did not provide identification, shattered they car's windows, fearful the driver drove a way, ICE then shot the car 3 times claiming officers were injured and they shot the car in self defense.
Total pros....
When the family got home they contacted local police who went to their home and said they had no reason to arrest them.
ICE could not give status of the injured officers....probably because they weren't and just shot up the car out of frustration.

Jemmy Jimenez Rosa, a legal U.S. resident for more than 20 years who recently renewed her green card and was held earlier this month in immigration custody, was released from detention on Wednesday.

Her lawyer, Todd Pomerleau, told Newsweek in a phone interview on Thursday, that he never heard the official reasoning for the government's decision to hold her in custody, but rather searched around and speculated that "at most, it could have possibly been a 2003 possession charge for a small amount of marijuana, which was pardoned fully and unconditionally by the governor of Massachusetts. The records were sealed, which means they never would have even had access to them without gaining special permission from the court."
He said his team was never asked by the government to provide records, and that they repeatedly tried to contact Rosa but were denied.

They held her for 10 days, withheld medication, and when they released her they kicked her out and put her on the street in the middle of the night without notifying her lawyer or family.

An 18 year old US citizen was arrested and caught it on his phone.

He told them he was a USC, was born and raised here, and he had rights.
ICE (or whoever they were) told him "you got no rights here, you're an amigo brother."

Later in the video after tasing one of the young men he was with, the Agents can be heard talking among each other making fun of them and saying:
"They are starting to resist more now.
We're gonna end up shooting some of them. Because they are going to start fighting.
Like this kid said you can't do that. I'm not doing shit..

WEST PALM BEACH - Kenny Laynez had never felt more relief in his 18 years than when he learned the prosecutors would drop a misdemeanor charge from the day the U.S. citizen got detained in a federal immigration crackdown - an incident he recorded on his cellphone.

The State Attorney's Office on July 29 filed a letter stating it would not pursue a charge of nonviolent police obstruction against Laynez. It said there was "insufficient evidence to support the criminal charge" stemming from the May 2 traffic stop in Singer Island, according to court records.

The gun wasn't retained in his rig properly and it literally fell out onto the ground, as did a spare magizine.
The guy they were detaining swept the gun away and the ICE guy goes full panic and after retrieving the gun points the gun at bystanders and maintains a very defensive stance with his gun drawn.
The black dude behind him had his shit more together as he pulled his gun and then reholsters after assessing that there was no threat.
