So, under Ca.'s insurance system, insurance companies pay out $1.09 for every dollar they take in. No wonder they are hauling ass. And Ca.'s state insurer - it's equivalent of Citizens - only has $700 million of reserves. That is one stupid gov't they have there.

But our government did not actively contribute to the conditions that led to the losses. Have you noticed that we haven't had anything remotely like that in Florida? We have prescribed burns in Florida to prevent that sort of thing. In fact, we lead the nation in prescribed burns. Can't do it without an act of Congress in Ca. That's the difference between a well governed state and one run by progs.

By all appearances, the purpose of the California gov't is to make it's citizens' lives miserable, punish them. Of course, quite a few of their citizens - the progs - richly deserve to be punished. So, in a way, justice is being served. Wish we could deport our progs to California. Maybe we could start sentencing our criminals to a lengthy stay in Ca. But, then, the courts would probably rule that is cruel and unusual punishment.
