The rumor mill says the National Archives did quick inventory and the unclassified list of classified docs is about 3 pages long, not sure if there is also a classified list of classified docs. The list of unclass docs is about 11 pages long.

Trump is crying victim but really should be crying about how stupid he is.

He obviously wanted these documents, and could have gone through the process to legally declassify and get copies. But his "I am the king" attitude and lack of discipline kicked in and he just took them. Rumor is that many still carry their TS markings without evidence of declassification. Losing track of TS is a BFD, stealing TS is an even bigger BFD. We have people in prison for stealing fewer documents.
Anyway, what he did was clearly illegal by every measure and is what is going to get him busted now that they have the evidence.

While he was president he was an Original Classification Authority and could have declassified the documents by letter/memo, or by striking and stamping the individual paper documents. But he didn't, and he is no longer president and no longer is an Original Classifier and it is too late to cover his incompetence with this type of information.

What he was going to do or what he did already with these documents is anybody's guess.
It was a really really stupid thing to do.
