The vaccine keeps you from getting sick from the disease, it does not keep you from catching it. The vaccine lowers the amount virus that is shed, but again, it does not keep you from catching it in the first place. Millions have it and don't know it because they have been vaccinated and the vaccine is working. For the non vaccinated? That's a different story.
