Getting back to reality, Trump could sell his book for mega-millions in about 2 seconds. I don't know why Trump would give a damn about Penguin passing up the opportunity to score. And it would outsell Obama's book by a good margin.

It's the fact check that's the problem for a liar like trump. Those lies don't matter to people who liked to be lied to but that's not the real world. He will get a ghost writer to historicize his myth and some people will buy it but the irony is that everyone else is making money on their trump books but trump. That's because those other books at least have the possibility of providing some facts about trump whereas any book by trump will only be a saccharin sweet puff piece devoid of truth.

Trump will have to self publish. He lied about getting offers because he's embarrassed that he's about as appealing as a pork soda stand outside a mosque. You can believe him when he says he's had offers but the facts are in the article. He's not bankable because he refuses to be fact checked. When he does write his fantasy fiction, it will sit in the fiction section. I can imagine it will do as wells as his son's book and with the same people. It will be a collection of superlatives with a ghost writer taking great pains to conceal their identity forever.
