Police Make Horrifying Discovery While Analyzing Unseen Footage of Florida...

President Donald Trump has talked about how important it is to have security at school to help prevent school shootings. But one of the things that has received very little attention from both sides of the aisle was that there was an armed security guard at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School at the time of the shooting. Which raised the question: where was that security person and why didn't he appear to respond to the shooting?

Well, now there are some answers to that question. And they're not good.

The Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel says the armed school resource officer assigned to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on the day of the school shooting "never went in."

The deputy, Scott Peterson, was suspended without pay by the Sheriff's office and has since resigned/retired.
The media asked Sheriff Israel what he thought Peterson was supposed to do.

The Sheriff said the officer failed his duty by waiting outside the school for four to six minutes while the shooter was killing people inside.

Israel said he made the decision to suspend the officer after reviewing video surveillance and interviewing witnesses, including the deputy himself. The sheriff says Peterson responded to the building where the shooting took place, took up a position outside a door and never went in.

Israel said he should have gone in, "Addressed the killer. Killed the killer."


That's literally why he's supposed to be there. What the heck was he thinking?

Meanwhile, Coach Aaron Feis, who knew how to use guns but wasn't armed, who had provided security for the school in the past, threw himself in front of students to shield them, giving his life to save them, because he had no other weapon with which to defend them.

If only he had been armed. Was he not armed because he didn't happen to have a gun on his person or was he prevented from being armed? That's another question that needs to be answered.
So many failures of action in this case and still 17 kids are dead who should be alive.

If you are a teacher trapped in a classroom full of kids that have scrambled behind you and other things for protection with no way out and with a shooter about to walk through you classroom door. Would you rather be armed or unarmed?

I don't know about you guys, but the teachers I know love to teach and with the exception of a month off in the summer (which seems to be chipped away due to more training or having to get another job to make the family budget) they spend way more than 8 hours a day doing their job. Going to the range, keeping qualified, taking more tactical classes just seems too much.

Chances are, guns in schools will be used for the wrong reasons or accidentally, dozens of times before any instance of a successful self defense. Check the statistics. It's well documented.

With the FBI failing to investigate the clear warning they were given, local law enforcement failing to take action and report the multiple calls on the individual that could have prevented the gun purchases, and finally the school resource officer failing to respond and act, it is obvious the authoritive structure that could have prevented this shooting are fubar.  Either that or they were complacent and even covertly facilitated this mass shooting to further their gun control aganda.  One has to admit, both theories appear to be quite plausible.

Regardless, this would be the same authoritative law enforcement structure we would be completely reliant on to enforce any type of new gun ban.  So one can't can't help but wonder how effective they would be at disarming anyone other than non-threatening, law abiding citizens.  To believe they would be any better at stopping a back market gun trade than they are at stopping the drug trade, is nothing short of foolhardy.  Brain damaged accually.
