Not that most of you care but this is going to be running on a loop during what should be television commercials soon:

Oh, I expect that we will be seeing a whole lot of crap far worse than that, as the fascists get more & more desperate.

This isn't desperate. This is real life. The opposition would be stupid not to go after this. In the public's eye, I think the attempts to defend her actions and lies are the ones that will come off as looking desperate.

Three of 30,000 emails sent either to or from her private server had the heading of Classified. A senator asked the Director that direct question. He said he was not sure of the exact number but thought that was correct.

None of the emails sent to or from her private server were intercepted maliciously.
( as far as the investigations determined. )

If you watched the hearing it would be plain to see that this is a political witch hunt in its purest form. This poor Gowdy dude is very far out.

Most of the questioning was not even questions. It was repug aholes ripping the integrity of the FBI Director. ( A life long repug until recently) The direct accusations were that Obama and or the Clinton campaign had direct influence on the decision.
Directly with Director Comey.

Comey comes across with high integrity , repugs come across as total lunatics.

There is no doubt that the State Department, in the past, when Clinton was there, and now, can handle the transmission of classified and above material in a more secure manner.

Repugs can spend hours on rabbit trails, but consider the presidential nomination of someone to SCOTUS or address gun violence. Nope no time for that. Mean while more shootings in the street. Nero would be proud.

There is nothing wrong with what Comey found with his investigation. However, making a statement, as he did on Tuesday, has a huge impact on an ongoing investigation. Now, if the DOJ were to go against his recommendation, they would have to fight a huge uphill battle. In addition, he clearly laid out the case for trying her for gross negligence, then recommended that they don't indite her. Hilarious!

I found the questions that were asked of Comey pretty straight forward. What did you see as being out of bounds?

Are you worried that repug aholes were the ones shooting cops in Dallas last night?

This last one is from Rep. John Micah of Florida, who spent most of his time laying out a full-blown conspiracy theory about collusion between Comey, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, and Loretta Lynch about this investigation. Then he claims there's something "fishy" about the whole thing:

Tomorrow we'll go back to our districts and we have to explain to people, in a couple cafes where I see folks and have meetings. They're going to ask a lot of questions about what took place...One week ago, former president Clinton meets with the attorney general in Phoenix. The next Friday, last Friday, Mrs. Lynch, the AG, says she's going to defer to the FBI. On Saturday morning I saw the vans pull up...Then on Tuesday morning...you basically said you're going to recommend not to prosecute. Correct? And then Tuesday we had President Obama and Secretary Clinton arrive in Charlotte at 2:00. Shortly thereafter we had the attorney general closing the case. This is rapid fire. I mean, my folks think there is something fishy about this. I'm no conspiracy theorist, but there are questions on how this came down.

I hope what you'll tell the folks in the cafe is, look me in the eye and listen to what I'm about to say. I did not coordinate that with anyone. The White House, the Department of Justice, nobody outside the FBI family had any idea what I was about to say. I say that under oath, I stand by that. There was no coordination. There was an insinuation in what you were saying. I don't mean to get strong in responding, but I want to make sure I was definitive about that.

Fair question and fair response.

A lot of people are asking questions about why Bill Clinton is having private meetings with the head of the DOJ while is wife is under federal criminal investigation and running for President. They are also asking a lot of questions about why Obama, who the DOJ reports to, is campaigning with someone who is under federal criminal investigation by his DOJ.

I think the appropriate way of expressing it is, "bitch hunt," though "wtich hunt" would certainly apply too. She won't get out of this unscathed.

Except that she lied and said that 0 emails contained classified info, and the Director said there was no way to know if they had been intercepted maliciously. He also said several times a Gmail account would have been more secure. Watching the hearing the Director got questions from all types of people, some of them went for more political gotcha type questions than others, but I think all levels of questions were necessary to show that there really is no charge to bring her in on, even though she was extremely careless and stupid.

My favorite was the guy who asked if the Director would grant her access to classified material if she wanted to work at the FBI knowing the way she handled her emails.

I think what she did was a huge mistake and she should have known better.

But, in life we have to consider context. Remember that time the President kept a private email server at the headquarters of the RNC and deleted millions of them?
I didn't think so, so here's your context:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B...use_email_controversy

Is the Secretary of State to be held to a higher standard than the president?

At this point, most people see the witch hunt for what it is.

Bill and Loretta: Dumb move x2.
Obama will support the D candidate, period.

If there were evidence of intent to the extent it would prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, charges would have been recommended. That's it. There's really nothing more to see here. Whitewater-Benghazi-Email, Hillary has been under investigation since the 1990's and still nothing will stick.

Hell if Trump wasn't running against her he'd be singing her praises. She's even slicker than Willie.

".......ongoing investigation...."

There is no ongoing investigation. The Director of the FBI said he would not send a prosecution recommendation to DOJ. AG confirmed no prosecution.

Questions asked and questions answered from Director Comey.

"Gross negligence..." Who is going to prosecute for that?

Witch hunt, bitch hunt .....done deed.

Repugs took the opportunity to try and impeach the Director of the FBI. Epic Failure.

No one is fooled by the blatant political agenda. Clinton's conduct was bad. Repug Senators are worse.

You just said it, Clinton's conduct was bad (definitely worse than having questions about the results of the investigation). There was a recommendation for no charges in spite of this. That raises questions, that doesn't make it a blatant political agenda. The questions needed to be asked.

The only thing that separates what Hillary Clinton did from what David Patraeus or Scooter Libby did is that Comey is saying that she was too stupid to know what she was doing. That is her defense. Is this who you want as your President? You want to elect grandma, who says she can't be trusted to know what is classified and what isn't?

The whole lack of intent issue is bothersome. You would think that all of the steps and multiple lies she told to Congress in her previous email hearings would help to establish intent to deceive. The fact that she lied under oath in Congress and there is proof is a discrace to our political system.

Ignorance isn't usually grounds to get you out of other crimes, so why is it acceptable in this case. This sets a very slippery slope of precedent for this type of behavior from our elected officials going forward, whether republican or democrat. We deserve better and more honest leadership. Seeing laws that aren't appliciable to a select class of society isn't what this country is founded on. I see some people saying it wasnt really that bad, and it only happened .01% of her emails......

I think that everyone overlooks the fact that this info could potentially put other innocent American lives at risk. What if her careless actions put your family or someone you know at risk. Would you feel the same? Why is it acceptable, because it didn't cause danger to you specifically? It might have only been 1 tiny email but what if that 1 email leads to 100 dead americans? In this context the nature of things don't seem as inconsequential.

At least half of the questions asked were not about Clinton's using a private server to send Governmental emails.
How is that you get a hearing the next day?

These repug Senators instead of focusing on the investigation and the results, focused on trying to impeach the Director of the FBI for reaching a conclusion based on coercion or collusion for purely political reasons.

How did drumpt get these stupid shits in his pocket?

WTF?

These hearing were shamefull. This is case closed.

Are you repugs good at anything?

We are talking about the Clinton's for God's sake. Why wouldn't we ask the questions?

Dude, you answered the question. Are you repugs good at anything?

Duh.....Filegate? 1996? Clintons exonerated. Ken Starr? .........

Look , no doubt the Clinton's are consummate manipulators. Crap they are lawyers. Is there a lower life form? ( errr, except for jb , he seems ok, even though his defense of cheech was way off base.)

They reek of scandal. So what is you repugs freaking problem? This should have been a slam dunk. But no repugs want to go after the Director of the FBI. Rabbit trail , instead of sticking to the issue.

Lets contrast and compare. How about Watergate? The worst scum of a repug.
( amazing how anyone could be a repug after this)

So the Watergate hearings nail Trickey Dick. Stone cold. Being the son a bitch that he was, rather than face the music he resigns. Them dems nailed his ass.

Repugs are only good at one thing: Nothing.

What's the problem? You hate Republicans so bad, that you will happily send crooks and liars to the Whitehouse as long as they are your crooks and liars. And you are still jerking off, while thinking about Watergate lol Nixon lied about what he knew and when he knew it. You know who else just got caught lying her ass off to the American public? That's right, grandma Clinton.

Does the Tea Party even still exist?

Where is their headquarters? Who is their leader? When was their last march or whatever?

Looks like they do, maybe more extreme than I recall.

Just curious about what course we need to stay on Rusty? Our country is falling apart at the seams. As a nation we are divided over just about everything, nobody to unite us. You would think the recent terrorism attacks would unite us, but instead they have led to gun control politics.

We have immigration issues that are killing the economy. We have a homegrown terrorism problem that nobody wants to address. Growth is flat, unemployment is much higher than what is reported. Sounds like we are on the fast track to hell and people want more of it.

so you don't find the second part of his post concerning? that you are happy to send crooks and liars to the whitehouse as long as they are "yours"?

that is what concerns me, we clearly have 2 options that are absolute shit, yet we have people adamantly arguing for each side while calling the other side terrible things. it's pathetic.

Dumb comment. Aside from political ideology you might have a lot in common with a republican in terms of interest, family values, priorities. I don't necessarily agree with my liberal friends on politics but that doesn't mean I won't share a beer, cook out, go fish or surf and enjoy life. Everyone is too wrapped up in these ideals to see the big picture.

They don't see it that way, foam ball. These progs are violent psychopaths. They openly advocate killing people they disagree with. And their fellow progs act on that advocacy, as we saw yesterday.

Don't disagree but realize there are just as many on the Republican side that appear equally as bad.

I'm tired of seeing this country so divided.

sarcasm much?

I have never said that I support Clintons in anyway. Crooks and liars have lived in the White House for most of the years its been in existence.

Drumpt is psychotic.

Just answer the question: What is there to like? Cuz I sure as hell can list hundreds of things there is not to like. ( and I have)

I don't judge my friends on their politics, most could give a shit. We just don't cotton to obnoxious pricks. Seems to me more than often repugs fall in that category. Hey its just my opinion. You could google brietbart to get a different opinion. That's what most repugs do.

No matter have a beer, cook out, go fish, go surf ( I hope) enjoy life and have a great weekend.

Yep missed the sarcasm completely, swing and a miss on my part lol.

I don't like trump any more than you, but I honestly think he can be controlled and reasoned with to some extent by his vp pick. We have seen him change his mind and back down from quite a few things that were initially very unreasonable. I think that's part of his general negotiation tactic. Start out extereme knowing he is going to have to compromise, his real goals are more toward the middle ground. I also think his inflamatory and antagonistic persona panders to the people that have got him here to some extent. In my opinion Hillary represents the corruptness that has this country so dissatisfied with the government.

Foam, history is one of my hobbies, and I take comfort in it often. We have been in WAY worse shape than we are now. The problem children make the news.

Sometimes you've got to turn off the TV and internet and go hang out. We don't have to agree on politics to all be Americans. My most violent act in recent memory involved pulled pork on the 4th, in spite of the local trolling.
