Season coming up.

UCF played Duke last night for an exhibition game. Fun to watch. Duke has a great team. #1 ranked incoming players.

UCF might surprise a few conference teams. 14 all new players and they were near tied with Duke at the half. I don't think UCF will win the Big12, but we might knock off a team or two.

I love college basketball and follow it from start to finish.

With that said, NBA starts also. Friday is Orlando Magic first game.

fyi, UCF knocked off Texas A&M last night. 10.5 point underdogs. Won by 86-74 in College Station, Tx.

UCF was down by 14 points with 9 minutes to go and came storming back to take a sizeable win. Big Win for the Knights.

UCF has an entire new roster with everyone transferred from other schools. Nitty-Gritty team. I was not expecting an upset.

Love college basketball.

Watched UF squeak by FSU in the O dome. UF is ranked tenth but good lord they are stacked.

I also got to watch a little bit of Purdue. Memphis gave them troubles but didn't have enough in the tank.

Purdue is tough team.

Duke beat the gators last night.

Barely beat the Gators. Very close game at the end.

I went to UCF game yesterday against FGCU. It was a fun game. Gulf Coast was a scrappy team with great shooters. it was even at the half but UCF killed them in the 2nd half and broke the schools record in most 3 pointers made in a game at 19.
It was a shooting clinic. UCF won 102-80.

btw, Texas Tech beat DUKE yesterday.

The Big 12 has some great teams. I hope UCF can sneak in an upset or two.

Big game for UCF today. #17 Kansas visits Orlando. They are 4.5 point favorites.

Its on Peacock and the new NBC Sports Network. Tickets still available though. 2pm tip.

I'm not expecting to win, but keep it competitive. UCF has only played one game the past 20 days. Those, a lot of practice time, but probably going to start slow due to being shell shocked by a great Kansas team.

Kansas is 10-3 on the year, with respectable losses to Uconn, North Carolina, and Duke. Blue-blood losses.

This is the first Big 12 conference game for both teams.

Hoping for the upset and this will be a great measuring stick on where UCF is.... Go Knights!

UCF not in top 25 of AP or Coach poll this week. I was watching Kansas vs Texas Tech who are ranked play last night. UCF beat both those teams and also beat #1 SEC team right now TAMU by 12 at their place.

With so many of the conference's expected bids being effective locks -- the six teams listed above each have 100% conditional at-large odds in the model consensus -- the Big 12 bubble picture really comes down to which team could be the seventh in. The Knights are in the driver's seat for that slot, especially after grabbing a signature win over visiting Texas Tech on Saturday. They rank 25th in the résumé average, while no other non-lock Big 12 team is even in the top 55. Pulling off a road upset at either Houston or Cincinnati in the next week-plus would go a long way in further solidifying UCF's standing.
