My yard is beginning to look like the Midwest in 1931. I was thinking about doing some Mandan dances to break the drought.

We are typically in the first week of the rainy season. Either cole's rain dance or this new possible T.S. can kick start it! Hope to get waves on the other side. Someone do a surf sacrifice.

Now if we can just get a Trident sub to drive up and down the coast.

Sunday kinda looks like NSB-Daytona. Offshore wind, declining from morning thru afternoon, Surfline "6'" which might mean 3. Their forecasts for Brevard & Indian River are erratic.

I doubt Hatteras will see anything bigger than 3'...maybe 4' Surfline says it's slow moving ... so that will produce waves

South Florida got the goods today. From south beach to Jupiter. About chest to head, offshore and heavily south swell angled. It broke very fast and it was hard to get in but it was gorgeous. I don't know if there will be anything left tomorrow.

I watched head high reef break with offshore winds at the house we're renting on Friday. It is still waist high and looks perfect this morning in windless conditions but we came here to free dive and can't find a board anywhere on this island. I guess this part of the world is pretty inconsistent.

it got pretty good here (somewhere's between 2L and BW) today too. Started out a little weird with the shorter wave period, but when I left just past high tide as the onshores cranked up there were long period chest+ sets coming in. Too bad the high tide was holding it back where I was. Hopefully a little further north in 2L land it was breaking better? Not a bad way to start off June and the big H season too!

The SE wind swell on Saturday did a number on the bottom and everywhere seemed to have a significant trough even at low tide. Without the TOD or "trough of death" it could have been better. Having said that any surf in June is appreciated. The TOD was in effect into south CB. I did get some intel that mid CB had better bottom setup, could have been the call with the north bias in the wind.

Central CB was fun early with chest to head sets, then the higher tide move it in and turned it to crunchy shore break. Some fun barrel views (none made) and the occasional shoulder, but that was about it.

2L had a middle trough for that swell direction but was breaking outside and inside. It was offshore and funnish. Cape Carnival has good form right now but smaller always. South swells kinda get up in there
