How much of this ass-pounding are you Magas going to endure before you realize Don the Con isn't your friend?

Trump says he 'couldn't care less' if auto prices rise because of tariffs

Auto industry experts have said Trump's tariffs on vehicles and parts, which are set to go into effect Thursday, will raise the cost of producing all cars sold in the United States - both imports and those built in American factories - by thousands of dollars. Whether or not automakers raise prices themselves, vehicle prices will almost certainly rise in the United States because of a supply-and-demand imbalance.

"Donald Trump has zero worry about contradicting himself, because he does it all day long," said Douglas Brinkley, a presidential historian who has met with Trump. "He figures he can get away with it because he does it all the time. There is no worry about it. He says one thing and then does another, and his supporters don't hold it against him."

Also, Need to ask how Trump can sink the stock market and how that is the opposite of the "booming" market he promised would happen on day 1.

I have at least three friends who voted for Trump who's 401k plans have gone down hundreds of thousands of dollars since Trump toook office and are very concerned. One wants to retire but wants to hit a target number before they retire. He thought he could before summer, now he is thinking it may not even be this year. None are happy with Trump.

Also have a friend who is buying a house and their down is in an ETF fund. They are now down 40-50k and are hoping it comes up before mid April.

This is how Trump rolls as he is just a grifting orange gasbag.

and of course he lets his buddies know when he's going to this so they can insider trade off it.

You can tell your Trump-voter friends his insiders basically stole their money, and the way the S&P is reacting to the 200 day moving average, now is not looking like a good time to be long the market.

I am sure losing thousands of dollars of their life savings was definitely worth it, because they can now win random arguments on the internet against strangers after Trump won the election

Wait until Monday. Looking like a massive gap down on the heels of the already massive freefall on Friday.

S&P Futures are currently down 136.

That's only the second time Ive seen futures down that much in 35 years of watching.

Other one was on Trump 2.0 as well.

Lots of Maga 401ks about to eat (more) shit..

..or should I say Steak?

Everyone misunderstood "What he meant to say was" "lower all our standing in the world. Lower the stock market. Lower people's employment. Lower Americans ability to have a comfortable life, health insurance and any sense of normalcy. Lower taxes on the rich. Lower environmental regulations so we can get things back to the pollution levels of the early 70's.

Don't worry, Liberation Day is coming on 2 April.

What is it exactly?
Tariffs...according to Trump..but there aren't a lot of real details.

What is the big plan?
He ain't got one, it is just whatever he feels like on a given day.

That is our President.

THE BIGGEST TAX IN AMERICAN HISTORY! MAGA!

wait, a tax hike?? This sounds like the opposite of what the magaloidz wanted..

Shanghai Surprise!!

Tariffs will raise $6 trillion, which would be largest tax hike in US history

White House aide Peter Navarro said Sunday that he expects President Donald Trump's tariffs to bring in $6 trillion in revenue in the next decade, which could amount to the largest tax hike in US history.

Even when adjusting for inflation, that amount would be triple the tax increase put in place in 1942 to pay the cost of fighting World War II.

.. most economists say US-imposed tariffs are paid by American businesses and consumers in the form of higher prices on imported goods, not paid by foreigners.

Nothing is paid until the goods enter the US. The $6 trillion will be paid by American consumers.

Now they are saying prices dropped. I just spent $100 at the grocery store for pretty much nothing. They are liars and the fix is in.

I was at Aldis yesterday and yes...prices on some items have gone up.
Avocados, grapes, tomatoes have gone up about 10% from where they were a week ago.
Coincidence?

Nope, it is Trump's Liberation Day.

I went to grab some veggie spring rolls and they are now $8.50. I dropped them like a piece of lit charcoal. From $5.99 to $8.50?

Way to go on your #1 Campaign Promise, Donzo!

I'm sure all the Magas are trying to rationalize this to themselves..

Consumer sentiment plunges 8%

Sentiment in April was at its fourth-lowest level on records going back to 1952.

"While this month's deterioration was particularly strong for middle-income families, expectations worsened for vast swaths of the population across age, education, income, and political affiliation," Joanne Hsu, the survey's director, said in a release. "Consumers perceived risks to multiple aspects of the economy, in large part due to ongoing uncertainty around trade policy and the potential for a resurgence of inflation looming ahead."
