The family of U.S. Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, who died a day after the January 6 attack, did not shake hands with Republican lawmakers Mitch McConnell or Kevin McCarthy at a ceremony honoring officers who responded to the riot. Sicknick's brother told CBS News that he snubbed them because they "can't stand up for what's right and wrong."

At the end of the video they talk about why they wouldn't shake hands with these two.
I don't blame them at all.
Mitch and Kevin probably don't blame them either.

McConnell and McCarthy have no shame. They know these people don't live or vote in their districts. They probably laughed about how these good people could never understand the political juggling act that they had to pull off to keep the base at bay, keep trump from targeting them and stay in high cotton.
