My biggest question, which we will never know the answer to, is whether or not these votes would still be "appearing" had Democrats won these elections.

It seems like even some of the people in the Democrat party are starting to question whether or not their party is losing the ability to lose anything gracefully.

I am pretty sure if the Dems would have won the Repugs would have had all the stops pulled to recount. Why not? With the margins as close as they are, they need to be recounted. Even if the Repugs still win at least you know that voting was fair. If not a recount, then we are going to have the UN come in and monitor our election system like some third world country.

I don't see anything controversial about counting every vote. Florida has been under R control for like 20 years, if they wanted to improve the voting system they could have.

Oregon doesn't have this problem. Everyone votes by mail, and everyone eligible is automatically registered.

But would these same Supervisors of Elections in Broward and Palm Beach counties still be finding these ballots and making a fuss about them or would we have never heard about these ballots, had the Democrats won? Would these same Supervisors of Elections just say that all ballots had to be in by a deadline and that the ballots found after that deadline missed the boat?

What is Florida law on these things? I've heard that all absentee ballots have to be in within 30 minutes. If all the other counties don't seem to have a problem doing this and these same couple Supervisors of Elections always seem to have problems, then something needs to be done to get someone in there who can do the job.

The problem with Palm Beach and Broward counties is that they are majority democrat and highly populated. You know, everything the GOP hates.

If it was by the same margins a recount would still be done because that is what the law states. The totals fell within the recount levels, so there is going to be a recount.

Is this really that hard to understand?

No, military and civil service employees abroad just need ballots sent on November 6th. Even if they arrive weeks and weeks later, they need to be counted.

Furthermore, this recount is in line with Florida law.

It is incredibly reckless and contrary to our country's values for Trump to be saying the things he is. He's riling up the dimwits (His "Bikers for Trump" gang is already attempting a show of intimidation) downcasting the rights of our service members, and scoffing at state's rights and laws from his pulpit.

Honest question: Why do you support Donald Trump?

Reckless is the perfect word for Trump's behavior.

He is willfully and purposefully trying to spread misinformation with the explicit goal of creating panic and unrest for his own personal benefit (read: protection from the rule of law)

He's yelling FIRE in a crowded theater- and he's the President of The United States for God's sake.

Regardless of where you stand politically, this behavior is an embarassment to the country (in front of the entire world) and an insult to all that served it.
