I got a gig tonight so will miss first half of the first game but game 1 of the World Series tonight (Friday).

The guy is a machine.

And so is Will Smith who caught two full games y'day and will go 9 innings again tonight.

And, I love the way Freddy Freeman plays. No bat flips, no stare downs, no "look at me" handwaving and chest thumping. He just drops the bat and trots the bases, almost like "he has been here before". Oh, wait, he has! True class. (Just wish the 3rd base coach had held him up. No way he was beating that cannon on Barger.)

Toronto ties it up last night.

That 18 inning game the night before. I don't know how many naps I got in that. I went to bed at midnight and asked siri who won. Then turned it on with the start of the 11th inning around 12:30am. Then fell asleep to wake up around 2am for the 15th inning but then went back to sleep. Watched the highlights in the morning. Marathon game!

A fun series! Late one last night again.
