I remember being on this website as a teen drooling over the waves up here. Wishing how I could've grown up here instead. Now in my 30's I have finally made the move from south to central Florida. But as you may know life changes when you get older such as career, family, etc. Barely go surfing anymore. Can someone point me to exactly in Indialantic where the photos of the surf report are taken on www.thewavecaster.com or would that be giving up a secret spot. I never let go of my surfboards and would like to get the dust off of them. Thank you all.

Some of the spots around here have been tide dependent lately with the small windswell. Take a day to look around, and take a mental note of certain beaches/waves that look better than the others

Could not agree more. Its all about experience, surf level and temperament. Now we wait for the Biggins to show up later during the hurricane season.

all the spots have changed from the sand dumping.
My go to spots haven't worked in awhile....either that or I suck more than usual.

I totally agree with the beach renourishment comments. It has never been the same since. It's hard to believe how much better it was in the 80s and 90s (I am sure the older guys can say same the about the 60s and 70s too). Boardwalk mid-break and shorepound was so fun. One of the few places in Brevard you could get reliably barreled. Wish we could get them to stop dumping. I would be willing to bet things would get better within five years or less.
