I got a lot of damage from Irma. Thought all my jaboticaba had died as they lost 90 percent of the leaf and just didn't look like they would recover. But, noticed new growth on all of them this morning. mango flushing. Citrus the same. Croton and other ornamental are waking up also. My live oaks still haven't busted out in new growth but it that is allowing more sun to get into the under-story.
And, I still have about 2 years of raking to do with all the oak debris. My yard is recovering nicely and yeah for the semi-consistent rain we have gotten since. |
