http://nassau.ifas.ufl.edu/horticulture/fruit/pineappleguava.html Not a true quava. Neat shrub. Fruit is allegedly tastey. Flowers are pretty. Extension office says they are drought and aerosol salt tolerant. I just got a couple of hideously root-bound specimens for cheap that I'm going to try. If they don't take because of the crappy roots I'm going to try to find fresher specimens. They need a cold period to set fruit. I think it gets cool enough around here most winters for them to set fruit; although after the last couple of winters I'm not super confident about that.
