I am clearing a nice area in my back yard. Facing east, some 1000 feet from the high tide line but behind the fence), dry, sandy, sunny, Melbourne Beach area.
I don't have sprinklers, but I'm planning to do a rain garden, i.e. there will be a valley in the middle and a water path from the gutters. There is also a AC drip close by, which I can direct, but still it never is really wet. I could use some ideas what to plant there, especially in the middle where I need something dense and about head high, for privacy hedge which I just ripped out. It was mostly snow bush, what a pain! Native, bug resistant, low maintanance. Anyone has any coco plum cuttings to trade/give away? I can trade some miracle fruit. |
