My post was about throwing some blame in the direction of the parents that put their children at risk. I said nothing about splitting up or not splitting up families. We always like to blame the system, the rules, the outcome, etc. ....yet everyone seems to continually overlook the fact that people willingly and knowingly put their children at risk crossing a border illegally and they magically seem to be absolved of any blame. |

Because people were treated differently for an invalid reason well into the 20th century and even well after passage of the civil rights act of 1964. Like it or not, AA exists because it assumes that people are fundamentally equal and it is trying to correct for arbitrary and capricious employment discrimination. So your "all the same" argument doesn't work here.

Like it or not, AA exists because it assumes that people are fundamentally equal and it is trying to correct for arbitrary and capricious employment discrimination. So your "all the same" argument doesn't work here. AA isn't just about black people Hispanics weren't enslaved yet they still benefit Asians are comparatively punished as well, even though they were/are discriminated against What about Irish and Italians?
