For the weather station at Melbourne Airport.

December was much warmer than average. 1.07" of rain was recorded which was 1.50" below average. That is drier than average but within the range of what I consider "normal" for our area since it is within a standard devaition or so of the average.

January numbers will probably be posted tomorrow. It will come in cooler than average with rain accumulation pretty close to average. We have gotten rain with a couple of the fronts but a few fronts have also come through completely dry. The St. Johns has been dropping steadily and IRL is low as typical of dry season conditions.
