And then dies of asphyxiation. Wonder if gravity, a retrorocket, or a parachute entered in to the equation. But simply watching a ship go over the horizon was apparently beyond his grasp....

Didn't Concords fly high enough to see the curvature of the earth? Seems like if that's what he was really trying to prove he could do the same with a balloon and a GoPro. But I guess that wouldn't make the news.
