I've got a friend that has an older Lexus sedan that needs a lot of work to keep running. Muffler, brakes, engine runs rough, leaking valve cover gasket, slipping AT.

Can anyone recommend a mechanic that can get her mobile at lowest cost? That will only do whats neefed?
That's open Saturday? Maybe even a shade tree guy or an off duty guy?

Cocoa Beach or Cocoa best, but nearby is ok too.

Robbies at your Service (yeah, that is the actual name) on MI near the airport is fair and reliable.  They are a good auto shop and one of the few I feel comfortable enough to recommend for family auto work.

How old is it?  That's quite a list of issues that may cost more than the value of the vehicle.

Fix the brakes.... JB weld the muffler, give it a tune-up (spark plugs etc) and some fuel injector cleaner.... then if the Tranny is still slipping, trade that puppy in.
