I've got a friend that has an older Lexus sedan that needs a lot of work to keep running. Muffler, brakes, engine runs rough, leaking valve cover gasket, slipping AT.
Can anyone recommend a mechanic that can get her mobile at lowest cost? That will only do whats neefed? That's open Saturday? Maybe even a shade tree guy or an off duty guy? Cocoa Beach or Cocoa best, but nearby is ok too. ------------------------- "The truth is incontrovertible. malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is." -Sir Winston Churchill |

Robbies at your Service (yeah, that is the actual name) on MI near the airport is fair and reliable. They are a good auto shop and one of the few I feel comfortable enough to recommend for family auto work. ------------------------- If I should ever die, God forbid, let this be my epitaph: THE ONLY PROOF HE NEEDED FOR THE EXISTENCE OF GOD WAS MUSIC - KV |

How old is it? That's quite a list of issues that may cost more than the value of the vehicle. Fix the brakes.... JB weld the muffler, give it a tune-up (spark plugs etc) and some fuel injector cleaner.... then if the Tranny is still slipping, trade that puppy in. |
