As if former President Barack Obama didn't cost Americans enough through lavish government spending while in office, his financial exploitation of taxpayers has continued well into his post-presidency life so much that he has just earned the title of "most expensive ex-president."

In 2018, Obama will cost taxpayers $1,153,000 for his expenses, a Congressional Research Service memo that looked into the official allowances for each of the five living former commanders in chief reported, according to The Washington Times.

His massive financial request for next year was more than $100,000 higher than George W. Bush's and nearly $200,000 more than Bill Clinton's. Meanwhile, George H.W. Bush was set to receive $942,000, and Jimmy Carter would receive the least amount, at just $456,000.

The Former Presidents Act allows for every former president an office, expenses and, in some cases, an annual pension payment, since the 1950s when former President Harry S. Truman struggled financially after leaving the White House, the Times reported.
Each ex-president receives a base pension of $205,700 per year, according to Fox News, however they can request a larger budget for additional expenses, such as office space, which has been the biggest cost for the former chief executives.

Not surprisingly, Obama's office space was the most expensive at $536,000 per year. Coming in second was Clinton's New York office, which costs taxpayers $518,000 annually, followed by George W. at $497,000 and his father at $286,000. Carter's Atlanta office costs taxpayers the least at just $115,000 per year.

Obama's pension payment was also the highest of the five, ringing up a $236,000 bill for taxpayers, followed again by Clinton at $231,000, and the younger Bush at $225,000.
Of course, these figures do not include the lifetime protection services for the former presidents and their spouses provided by the U.S. Secret Service. Those costs have not been released to the public, but reportedly costs tens of millions of dollars, according to the Washington Free Beacon.

And, as we know, the Obamas have also raked in mega cash from speaking engagements, with one speech from the former president costing up to $400,000.

For a politician who built his career claiming that he represented "the little guy," impoverished people, and people facing obstacles to reaching the American dream, his lavish lifestyle is a far cry from struggling or even mediocre. Most people in this country will never know the kind of wealth that he has amassed, but they certainly will contribute to it every week that they earn a paycheck.

Every trip Trump takes to Mar a Lago costs the tax payer around $3 million.

Obama's trip to Palm Beach was estimated at $3.6 million by a Republican investigation, so Trump's will be the same, if not more considering Obama's trip was several years ago. Well, then there is the cost to keep the Secret Service at Trump's resort, which he charges full price for and turns a profit from.

If only we could contrast those selfish frivolous expenses with our current president's trips. The jersey golf course, the trump tower trip and of course maralago. But fishy, what was the rent the secret service was asked to pay I'm trump tower? You know, the rent for his own security detail? Trump owns the space that he was asking the secret service to rent and they ultimately gave up because the trump people wanted more than the secret service could afford. They walked away. Then there's this: "The U.S. military has separately agreed to lease space in Trump Tower for $130,000 a month, according to a lease first reported last month by the Wall Street Journal. That space will be for the White House Military Office, which provides services including communications and the handling of the "football" that the president would use to launch a nuclear attack, the Journal reported.".

Obama and every other president never would or did anything like that. The man is a con.
