Man that takes me back to my college days. I did a bulk run every Saturday to a bunch of dirt poor old white folks south of Tallahassee.
Too far out for daily delivery.

Good folks at heart, but racist, homophobic, and if any are still alive (doubtful) they would vote trump.

Some of them were more excited to talk to me for a half hour than the food.

Sad forgotten folks.

Take away their healthcare, poison their environment and bask in the trump glory that comes when you know you have provided these people with the opportunity to lift themselves up by their bootstraps because you have taken away all social safety nets. Trump uber alles.

F you cheater, meals on wheels brought hot food to poor elderly people. I delivered it. There was no bloated government bureaucracy, there was no corruption, there was just college kids and retired Christians and hippies putting little tins of hot or frozen food into Styrofoam coolers and taking it to old people who wouldn't get to eat otherwise.

I want to physically assault anyone who's against that.

Heres a thought comrade, use local churches to set up same system and use the local community through that venue. Keep the gubment to the constitution, too easy if you think outa da box

Wandering rant, , , ,

Somewhat of a good point in regard to sticking to the Constitution. Take education for example, , , , the U.S. Department of Education, on the outside, looks like a good thing; educate them, educate here, educate there, teach everybody the same thing, ya, ya, ya. But, in the end can we really say that we are better educated and better off? Perhaps not. Education on a "national" basis sounds good and it should be but, , , , there is just too much derision between states and localities within each state. Common Core is a good example. But, then again, where does it say anything in the Constitution about education?

Like most easy answers from you guys, it doesn't work. Which church, when, how to coordinate, what about people where the church has no money, on and on.

What church do you go to? Do they deliver daily meals to the poor? Could they? Would they? To everyone our just church members? Do you contribute?

That's not an idea, that's an excuse, a cop out. If you're gonna try to go hard comrade, don't be a wuss.

It does sound like it failed you at least. Or you didn't pay attention.

And they used to talk about death panels.

I'd laugh at the irony if I wasn't spitting mad at this frothy mix of ignorance and arrogance.

How do these people look at themselves in the mirror?

http://www.militarytimes.com/a...als-wheels-trump-cuts

"Meals on Wheels serves 500,000 veterans each year. Any cuts to Meals on Wheels funding could cause programs to start waiting lists and cut back on the number of meals served," said Jenny Bertolette, a spokesperson for Meals on Wheels. "This would no doubt effect veteran recipients in states that use those block grants to support Meals on Wheels."

Support the Troops indeed.

It is Trump's overall large budget with a general dismissiveness of education, science, job training and healthcare that is the worry. We may not have the best education program in the world, but we do have the best science. We definitely have the strongest military in the world by far and we should shovel more into that??
