Huh, the areas I'm thinking about might be too tight for a trolling motor.

I've just cut the motor and drifted across a hydrilla flat pitching frogs and buzz baits when the top water bite was on. Super fun.

Seen some cool setups with trolling motors on the trim tabs.

We dry land run to small ponding areas that are densely packed with vegetation. That's what I mean when I say a trolling motor won't work.

I was wondering how bad the noise spooks the fish.

Man I can't believe I didn't get out there in the transition period and now the summer heat is in full effect. (Brutal in a canoe)

yes very low, very little grass. be careful its not as bad as 2011 but water is dirty and fish should be out off edges and in the roadbeds

last 4 days in Marsh/ Stickmarsh and Garcia have been good to great. Water is cleaned up. Grass is growing back, fish are biting. lots of fish over 6 lbs. All are real skinny but hangry. Black/blue or silver/gray shad imitation. Kinda crazy some fish are chasing and some are liking it still, oh well they are biting and its not too hot
