Only idiots believed Biden, KJP, and all these other mouthpieces when they said that Biden wouldn't pardon Hunter. This was never about Hunter. The only reason Hunter was charged was so Biden's DOJ could go after Trump without appearing to be the gestapo that they were. This was always the plan and everyone knew it. The only question was when it would happen and that all depended on whether Biden won this time around. Biden isn't just trying to pardon Hunter. Joe Biden is also trying to insulate himself. I'm interested in how many of his other relatives receive preemptive pardons. If he issues pardons for his brother and other members of the family, then it will be obvious that this is all about saving an ounce of dignity for his legacy by not allowing the extent of his corruption to be proven one way or the other. I don't think anyone really believes that putting Joe Biden behind bars is the goal. The goal would be to shine a spotlight on any and all corruption that the Bidens have been involved in and allow everyone to see what a POS the Biden family has been by selling the country out to the highest bidders for nearly half a century. There is no coincidence that Joe pardons Hunter for anything he has ever done starting in January of 2014 when Hunter was given his cushy job on the board of Burisma, raking in over $88K a month for doing nothing but enriching the Biden family, in March of 2014. I guess Biden is flexing his might and doing whatever the hell he is able. That's a shame. Biden gave up the high ground here and Trump's base corruption is now the norm.

Trump has dragged him down to his level. Maybe in some weird way Trump now respects Biden. People are always saying they the democrats kept losing because they weren't willing to be as shady as the the Trumpists. I guess that's over.

Biden should pardon everyone these thugs have threatened to go after (Judge Merchan, AG Letitia James, Fani Willis, Jack Smith, Dr. Anthony Fauci, General Mark Milley, all the other state prosecutors enforcing Trump's election interference conspiracies.

The pro-slavers have been up in arms about this. Very amusing. They are saying that this stunt further damages the pro-slaver party, which is certainly true. Well, they made their own bed. Come on, Cranky, this didn't change what Trump planned on doing one way or another. He appointed people to cause chaos. Kashapp Patel swore he would prosecute and punish Trump's enemies. Biden could have, and in my opinion should have, left his son at the alter of real law and order. It seems clear that Kashapp would have pursued Hunter beyond this and kept this going for a very long time beyond Hunter's current felonies. Biden knew his son would be the face of the new FBI and DOJ, jailing their enemies. Biden could have let his son take his lumps for it and worked out a pardon with the next president, but he may not live that long and according to Trump, there might not be another election.
