Truth Social is not only worthless, it is in the hole to the tune of 40 some-odd million dollars, and yet investors have bought and bought and bought. The dud of a company is now "worth" billions.

Is this Putin paying Trump for help in Ukraine?

The Saudis paying for nuclear secrets?

Who exactly are these "investors?"

Good question. They are probably foreigners trying to get around the laws of our country that prohibits the financing of presidential candidates.

Trump's reversal on TikTok? Um, yea.

The right-wing billionaire and TikTok investor is about to help the former president add billions of dollars to his net worth. This is what oligarchy looks like.

More volatility ahead for Trump's high-flying Truth Social

Its market valuation, just over $8 billion, is still stunning for a social media fledgling with an unproven business model that has struggled to attract users and advertisers, burned through cash and wracked up losses.

"The valuation of the company should be several hundred million, not the billions it is currently valued at," University of Florida professor Jay Ritter said.

Thursday's slide into the red could be just the beginning, market observers say. Ritter predicts the vanity stock ticker DJT will bottom out around $2 a share - or worse.

"The company has about $2 in cash per share, but it will probably burn through that money and the most likely outcome is eventual bankruptcy."

Trump also used a vanity ticker for his Atlantic City casino business, Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts, when it went public in 1995. The company never turned a profit and ended up bankrupt in 2004.

You guys are more hysterical than usual today. Is that a result of Easter? It is interesting how progs respond to the lunacy of their fellow progs. "Is this Putin paying Trump for help in Ukraine?" Progs, rather than ignoring such tripe or advising the poster to at least hold off on the sauce until evening, try to one up the original stupidity with their own. Is there some reward you progs get for being the dumbest one?

Trump can now get paid by any dictator, despot or Putin in the world. The company is bleeding money like Niagara Falls, how else can you explain the worth in an honest sentence?

Don't need to go through all that trouble to get paid by such people. Look at Dementia Joe. Just used his son to shake down people. Much lower overhead that way.

Trump's Truth Social loses $4 billion in value in one week

Trump Media & Technology Group, whose primary asset is the Truth Social platform, tumbled $13.30, or 21%, to $48.66 on Monday. That's below its opening price last Monday of $49.90 per share, and represents a 39% plunge from the stock's high of $79.38 on March 26.

The decline continued on Tuesday with the shares losing 2.4% in early trading, before reversing and gaining ground.

"Trump cannot sell his stock in the company for six months, making it difficult to translate Truth Social's value into liquid cash that can be spent on the campaign," Europa Group analysts said in a report. "That outlook could change over the coming months, particularly if Trump obtains the waiver or can find a lender willing to accept shares in Trump Media as collateral."

Says who? Your witness was a Russian plant and the rest of the Republican investigations have found nothing. Again you lie.

Now to the question: T-Sap, please explain how this dirt hole of a company is worth billions?

Trump's payoff is getting smaller by the day.
It is a race to see if it is in the single digits or not when then 6 month mark hits and he can dump the stock.

In the mean time he is begging people to invest to keep numbers artificially higher than the fundamentals of the company supports.

People are wondering if J-vanka was one of the few who were able to short the stock in the beginning with a reasonable fee. It was so shitty at the IPO that shorting wasn't easy for the average joe investor as the fees would be higher than the possible gains.

Maybe the Saudis or Russians will swoop in and buy a ton of stock?
