The port of Baltimore is totally fucked. Baltimore is/was one of the largest ports in the USA/World and is/was a major "roll-on-roll-off" port for the auto trade. One of only 4 ports in the USA with 50 ft deep channels and berths.

Now, for such a 'so fucking important bridge' to be built so that a ship is able to actually 'hit' a structural member like that!!!!??? But, perhaps, long ago when the bridge was designed, , , , , any then floating ship would be 'no match' for such a 'strong' bridge. Hmmmmm, , , , , okay but, , , , , , current ships are 5 or more times heavier than wah 'used to be'.
