The real pro-slavers plan is to reduce public school resources beyond the breaking point, then stand back and say "See?! The public school system has failed!", that way they can channel the public funds into the hands of their grifter friends who run private, for profit schools that teach superstation and right wing ideology. Oh and those schools don't have to abide by anti-discrimination laws. If you're gay, you can't stay; if you're brown, you can't stick around.

As the article indicates, Mass. progs helpfully have taken care of that. Did a really excellent job of ruining their schools, actually. They didn't need our assistance.

Except literally none of that is true...

What is true is, you clowns would rather see "public resources" be spent on gender identity and teaching a kid to either feel like a victim or an oppressor (soley based on the color of their skin)....so yeah, real fine job with your choice of "education"

Tell me, though Comrade, how are your fellow commies doing with their "public resources" over in Communist China, Russia, or Cuba, or North Korea?

(Gotta laugh when a self proclaimed Commie chimes in with his knowledge of how "public resources" get spent......lol)

Republicans, rightwing extremism, ruining everyone's lives in the USA.

The first line in your article:
"Austerity measures have resulted in dangerous, squalid conditions for the most vulnerable students."

And,
"In a column for The Washington Post in 2018, the journalist Rachel Cohen noted that public schools in the United States were, on average, 45 years old - and in former industrial cities, usually much older. "The last time Congress debated school infrastructure spending was in 2009," Cohen wrote, when school construction funds were initially included in President Obama's "stimulus deal." But the line item was subtracted from the deal when the president found himself unable to win even minimal Republican support. Over a decade later, the infrastructure bill passed by Congress in November 2021 still did not include funding for schools. And President Biden's ill-fated Build Back Better bill, although it did originally include funding to build new schools and modernize old ones, was taken off the table when congressional conservatives rejected it. By the fall of 2022, the average age of a public school had risen to nearly 50 years."

More tax cuts and deregulation will fix it, right?

You really don't have kids in school, or have any idea on how funding gets allocated, do you? I'll give you a hint......it starts locally.

Unfortunately for you though, that would require you to realize your are letting your opinion be formed for you by the media.....

The article clearly documents republicans blocking federal funding for rehabilitation of our inadequate and crumbling public education infrastructure.

Yes, that particular article does say that.

What are your thoughts on this article. discussing the actual billl and what all was included in the bill the PASSED?

One of these articles is not like the other......

What actually happened in 2009

Either educate yourself on the topic or be a fool and parrot someone else.....the choice is yours.

This is Boston. Do you know how many Republicans there are in Boston? About 8. This is entirely the work of progs. Furthermore, there are some very good schools in Boston. But those schools are predominantly white. This "austerity" only occurs in minority schools, and it is done with the purpose of keeping blacks from getting an education. Progs know that an educated and independent citizen is not going to vote for progs.

Except it isn't, everything he just stated is literally fact.

When presented with truth, your response is "bullshit".....without explaining why or the inaccuracies of what is said.....

I'll leave you with this little nugget:

A person who is unwilling to change their mind even with an underlying change in the facts is, by definition, a fundamentalist. In the end, it takes courage and determination to see the truth instead of the convenient.

Courage, determination, ability to change one's mind when presented with facts.....aren't traits associated that are usually associated with those afflicted with Libtardism.

The inability to understand the difference between facts and bullshit opinions/lies is a key indicator of your intelligence level.

The literacy rate in the USA is 79%.

China? 97%

Russia? Not communist in 30 years (dumbass), but still 99%

Cuba? 99.67%

North Korea? 100%

Seems you need a little schooling yourself.

It's fairly simple folks, just compare Massachusetts to Florida or the pug state of your choice on damn near any measure of literacy and education.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Says who....them?

I'm sure North Korea has 100%!!!! HAHAHAHA. Why haven't you packed your commie bags and moved to any of those commie paradises yet, Comrade?

Fun fact, China isn't truly communist anymore either.....they abandoned it for "socialism with Chinese characteristics". Tell me you know nothing about China's "Special economic zones" that are allowed to operate under free market-oriented economic policies???

Tell me you didn't realize it was this move away from pure communism, to allow for basically "capitalistic zones" within their country is what spurred their economic growth. Unfortunately for them...since they are still socialist, only a few are really seeing the benefit.

Wonder why they had to reneg on their "Communism" ifs such a prosperous philosophy, Comrade? But never mind, I digress.....

Your best response is "I don't believe the data!"

I guess you'll just need to fly to Pyongyang to check for yourself.

Does it matter if they call themselves communist when they're really just authoritarian?

Doesn't matter. If a Florida kid or his parents don't like their public school, they can go to a charter school. That is how non-racists ensure that all children get an equal chance. Racists, like pro-slavers and progs, make sure that blacks are stuck in horrible schools with no chance to escape. The article I cited demonstrates that.
