I'm worried about granny being able to stay in her home on a fixed income. They sure didn't figure in $6,000 a year for homeowners insurance.

Florida, highest homeowner rates in the country.
We have more hurricane exposure than any other state. Change that and our rates go down. Short of that, our rates will naturally be higher.
