As 4,000 US car dealers petition the blunder/hyena admin to change their EV mandates, thousands of EV's are sitting on the lots unsold for up to a year!

Their sales were up last year.

In your peabrained world--sales up, BUT not many new sold as delivered, do some research coleslaw, check Ford EV.

The same could be said for pickups and large SUVs.
they ain't selling.
Average Market Days Supply is hundreds of days, some are over a year, for the large ICE vehicles.

Others like a Toyota Camry are only a handful of days.

The new and used market is nuts right now.

Still a lot of price gouging going on in the new car industry.

In almost all industries.

Profits are through the roof and we are footing the rise.

Ever watched a run-away diesel? A fuel truck burn down a bridge?

We need a consumer revolt. Let demand drop and see if we can get this greed based inflation back under control.

$1.3 billion In its latest earnings report, Ford conceded that its Model e division - which focuses on electric vehicles and future mobility - posted losses of $1.3 billion between July and September 2023. The automaker says this significant loss can be attributed to "continued investment in next-generation EVs and challenging market dynamics." Ford doesn't seem to be trying to actually sell EVs when it is targeting the tiniest sliver of the EV market with a full size electric pickup and the Mach E. KIA and Hyundai seem to have figured out what kind of EV sells.

No one has figured it out, beyond selling to fools. Selling something with lower capabilities for a higher price isn't going to go well once the all of the fools have bought it. In other words, it is easy to sell crap to a group that is predisposed to be hoaxed but very difficult to sell crap to others.

Yes they are too pricey, but then again, a decent F-150 4x4 is $70 grand.

Car fire on 95 this morning. Looks to be an older Honda.

Don't buy gas cars, they are dangerous.
