I must admit, Rhonda's spectacular failure has exceeded even my expectations.. 'Waiting for him to drop out': DeSantis' influence nosedives in Florida Interviews with nearly two dozen lobbyists, political consultants and lawmakers revealed that DeSantis' struggles as a presidential candidate have already eroded his influence in Florida. There is a widespread expectation that his candidacy will end in failure. I for one would be happy to keep him as governor for Florida. I wouldn't be surprised if DeSantis attempted to change the two term law. He changed it for the presidential run, as well as the law he broke for trafficking Venezuelan immigrants. ------------------------- I was right. |

I think Florida legislators will no longer see him as inevitable so they may actually start pushing back. Not out of honor or decency but out of spite, the way a fat girl brags about banging a frat boy that he thought no one would ever find out.
